Quarried using traditional methods, slate is a natural product. No two pieces are quite exactly alike. It's durable and handsome, economical and fascinating when installed. The honed slates are polished and elegant. The natural slates are fascinating. Arrow now stocks Slate & Soapstone Slabs from Brazil, perfect for countertops. Arrow can cut slabs to length but edge finish and sink cut-outs must be done by the installer. (Slate and soapstone are soft, so hand or machine sanding is not problematic.)
